Dave’s principal topics and discussions during the evening meeting will center around the current and expected future, state of the NextGen, ATSC 3.0 terrestrial TV broadcast transmission standards, which offer an exciting variety of new local origination broadcast services and enhancements over the legacy ATSC 1.0 capacities. Due to the fact that the Columbus Ohio metro area has recently been designated by various industry associations as the FIRST ATSC 3.0 NextGen TV TEST market, his discussions will also be covering some of those recent introduction activities and viewer responses being promoted by WSYX, a Sinclair O&O TV station, since last June.
